Dylan Norcross

Dylan Norcross is a conductor, music educator, and percussionist based in East Surrey. He studied conducting with John Stewart and Phillip Ostrander and played under conductors such as Nobuyoshi Yasuda and Paul Nickolas. 

Dylan has conducted the Lewisham Concert Band since 2025 and actively gigs throughout the London area. He teaches music and directs bands at The American School in London as well as performs with the KEW Wind Orchestra, Invicta Jazz Orchestra, and others in the South London area. He has also judged auditions and teched the percussion sections for students and honor bands throughout Europe through AMIS. 

Dylan studied Music Education and Percussion at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, receiving his Bachelor’s, before going on to receive his Master’s at the University of Oregon. He has performed in venues such as the Lucas Oil Stadium, Lincoln Performance Concert Hall, various Jazz clubs, and more. He primarily performs as a percussionist and drummer now, although has played trumpet and Jazz trombone in groups around South London as well. 

Dylan enjoys teaching, performing, and conducting music at a high level and is always looking for opportunities to work with both budding and established musicians.
