Proms soloist and BBC Young Musician Brass Winner, Matilda Lloyd, to perform with Lewisham Concert Band on tour to Akureyri Music School, Iceland in October 2022.
The performers touch down in Iceland on Saturday 15th October 2022 and will be guests of the Akureyri Music School. Rehearsals will take place during the following few days, getting to grips with a concert programme featuring individual band numbers as well as some massed band pieces combining the talents of both groups. The final concert will be staged in the Hof Concert Hall at 19:30 on Wednesday 19th October.
